The National Council on Identity Policy Editor's Note on San Francisco Cases The National Council on Identity Policy (NCIDP) was born of the struggles of one tenacious survivor of domestic violence and stalking. The NCIDP continues her work with the help of many. Read more about the NCIDP... ~ This is an Editor's Note on Case Studies from a series run by Firewire News about San Francisco cases. ~ (Firewire News) - San Francisco is famous, or some might say 'infamous' or even 'notorious', as a city of liberal and progressive politic and viewpoint. It is oft remembered as "the city of love" from its days as ground zero for the summer of love and the hippie movement. Yet, ironically, The National Council on Identity Policy (NCIDP) receives a grossly disproportionate number of cases of identity violence, identity hate violence, violence against women, misogyny, domestic violence, and homicidal assault, from San Francisco and the San Francisco Bay Area. Moreover, cases arising in San Francisco are significantly more likely to be group-committed, organized, systematic crimes (RICO). Another famous, darker reputation for the San Francisco area is as an epicenter for violent cults, and a certain local ubiquity of that cult-like, nihilistically Machiavellian pack mentality appears reflected in the types and manner of violent identity crimes arising there. The trend is disturbing. Indeed, in the Case Study: Terrorist's 'Own' San Francisco, the terrorist group of that case targets vulnerable populations for violent identity crimes, to exploit those individuals to fund the group's broader terrorist activities and objectives. This model of obtaining government funding for dubious or nefarious purposes [in the above San Francisco case, for terrorism] is a page straight from the books of the San Francisco cult made famous by the massacre of some 900 of its most vulnerable and innocent victims at Jonestown, Guyana in 1978, which had its members sign over welfare, Social Security and other benefits payments directly to that cult. On the one hand, San Francisco does appear to remain a hotbed for some liberal and progressive idealism. As a city, it clearly clings to that public persona, and "conservative" remains a dirty word within its boundaries. On the other hand, hypocritically, it appears that San Francisco has a seething, black undercurrent, an extremist underground backlash of hate and violence, unchecked rampant felony crime sprees engendered, enabled and aided by corruption, that no one is willing to acknowledge or talk about, let alone confront. Read what happens when a woman is hunted and chased by a stalker and reports it to the police. It seems that San Francisco is the city that lost the love. Whatever words chosen to characterize this shattered personality, it is clear that San Francisco is highly polarized within its own urban boundaries, and that it is the innocent victims, those whom the liberal and progressive agendas purport to help, who are most injured in that crossfire. Read what happens when a rape victim asks for a rape kit exam in San Francisco. Identity hate violence has become ingrained and institutionalized into the fabric of San Francisco. San Francisco works hard, aggressively, to pretend it isn't happening, and reports of certain crimes vanish from the records with unnerving frequency, regularity and repetition. Others are openly, overtly, altered. Indeed, in a trend that appears unique to San Francisco thus far, and that San Francisco appears to have turned into a cottage industry of organized crime, it is common among NCIDP case files to find that purported "helping professionals" falsely "diagnose" cisgendered women ("cisgendered female", "natal female", "congenital female", et al.) as having a "transgender" identity, and/or other false 'psychiatric' diagnoses. The projection of this false transgender identity then ensures that the cisgendered (natal, congenital) female victims are subjugated to, and brutalized by, the same systematic, systemic and organized violence perpetrated routinely and daily upon those who actually are within the DSM IV criteria for a "trans" "diagnosis". Read about the victimization of one young woman seeking medical care. For survivors of violence to date, this has meant the complete disregard of the victims' survivorship of that violence; the complete functional deprivation of resources and treatments and facilities that are supposed to help the victims. The victims are left completely exposed and vulnerable to the brutality of their original perpetrators, as well as the reperpetrations of the so-called "helping professionals" to whom the victims had turned. It is an active participation in a concerted effort to ensure that these victims succumb to the violence and die. Read about the utter brutality of it. Whether the victim is cisgendered, or actually "diagnosable" by DSM standards with any "trans" identity, the NCIDP ardently asserts that such violence, violent oppression, and active participations in intending such victims' deaths, is the gravest and evilest of wrongs. San Francisco's dirty secret. Certainly the most intensely and simultaneously: systematic, misogynous and transphobic, collection of crimes against women in NCIDP files. The hypocrisy runs deep and dark in San Francisco. More typically from other regions, crimes of misogynous and/or transphobic hate are far more blunt, 'in-your-face' kinds of crimes: hate speech, violent physical assault and battery, rape, murder. The NCIDP has yet to receive a case from outside the San Francisco Bay Area where a cisgendered (natal, congenital) woman was purposely falsely diagnosed as a "transgendered" woman in order to advance another agenda of criminal violent assault, fraud, brutal oppression and/or murder. Thousands of cases have come to the NCIDP. San Francisco and the surrounding area are grossly over-represented in those files. Worse still, the cases from San Francisco disproportionately over-represent the "helping professions", and to the distant observers at the NCIDP, it appears that the entirety of the San Francisco health care system actively participates in this gross violence and criminal corruption. The NCIDP has come to regard San Francisco as "Patently Unsafe" for women surviving violence. Nationwide, safety for survivors of violence is problematic, and far too many, and far too regularly, survivors are forced into a refugee status within their own country, and forced to seek safer refuge abroad. Survivors in San Francisco are far less likely to survive, are far more likely to be killed from the direct actions of those purporting to be "helping professionals", than can be expected in much of the rest of the nation.
